Description: Hickory Hill is a fifth-generation family dairy farm nestled in historic Edgefield County. The Dorn family was established at its current location in 1764 where a rich tradition of family and farming began. In 1958 the Dorn's added a herd of Holstein cows and started the family's dairy farm. In 2009 they began processing their own milk on-site; they pride themselves on bottling all-natural, low temp vat pasteurized, non-homogenized milk like the good ole days. In May 2020 Hickory Hill moo-ved into South Carolina's first privately-owned robotic milking facility complete with 200 free-stalls and the latest advancements for maximum cow comfort. The transition has been very successful and extremely beneficial for the happy herd. Today, Watson and Lisa Dorn, along with their children and grandchildren, work those same pastures and look forward to their family's future in farming.
