Come Shop the Midlands Spring Plant and Flower Festival April 16 – 19

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina Department of Agriculture is hosting the annual Midlands Spring Plant and Flower Festival April 16-19 at the State Farmers Market, 3483 Charleston Highway, West Columbia.

Spring is underway and warmer temperatures have everyone eager to get outside. At the Midlands Spring Plant and Flower Festival, individuals can shop over 100 vendors offering an assortment of plants, flowers, outdoor furniture, lawn and garden décor, specialty items, and more! Festival attendees can also grab lunch from a member of the Palmetto Puddin’ Train Food Truck Association while at the event. 

The festival will take place rain or shine. Admission and parking for the event are free to the public. Event hours are 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday – Saturday and 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday. Visitors are encouraged to dress comfortably and while wagons will be available for rent, visitors are encouraged to bring their own due to limited quantities.
