Cook Teams Wanted for 2014 Commissioners Cup BBQ Cook Off & Festival

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – February 4, 2014

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Barbeque grill masters and backyard enthusiasts are invited to
compete for the State Championship Title at the 2014 Commissioners Cup BBQ Cook Off
& Festival, March 21-22 at State Farmers Market, 3483 Charleston Highway, West
Columbia.

The event is sanctioned by the Southern BBQ network. The non-refundable entry fee is
$150 and includes all categories. The categories and prizes include:

Friday Category:

Anything Butt – Trophy & $300 cash award

Saturday Categories:

Boston Butts – Trophies & cash awards for 1st Place -$1,000, 2nd Place – $600, 3rd
Place – $300
Pork Ribs – Trophies & cash awards for 1st Place -$1,000, 2nd Place – $600, 3rd
Place – $300
Grand Champion (State title) – Trophy & $600 cash award
Reserve Champion- Trophy & $300 cash award
Peoples’ Choice – Trophy & $300 cash award
