If you’ve been thinking about composting, Fall is the time to start, since you need dried plant material as a base.

Leaves that blanket your yard in the autumn will make a good start.

This is Dale Miller’s farewell workshop as he is retiring from Wingard’s at the end of the month.

Also, you may not realize that you can plant a whole new vegetable crop that will bear in the Fall.

This is the time of year to plant cool weather crops, such as broccoli, kale, lettuces, etc.
