Speakers will include: Dr. Payero- Clemson Ext Irrigation Specialist, Gordon Mikell- NRCS Agronomist, Jeff Lucas- NRCS District Conservationist, Robbie Weathers- Carolina Ag Solutions, and Rebecca Hellmuth- Clemson Ext Agent.
The meeting will include a tour of cover crop demonstration plots and perform an irrigation “Blue Dye Test”.
Topics covered will include soil moisture meters, irrigation decision making, local/state weather network, and managing fertilizer/irrigation.
