Get “Wild in the Kitchen” at the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina Department of Agriculture (SCDA) is teaming up with the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE) to get “Wild in the Kitchen” during the nation’s largest wildlife art and nature event February 13-15 in Charleston.

Food enthusiasts can visit the SCDA tent on Marion Square in downtown Charleston to watch a variety of cooking demonstrations from local chefs. They will be preparing unique dishes with fresh, Certified SC ingredients. This year, our SC Chef Ambassadors, a program initiated by Governor Nikki Haley, will participate in sharing their culinary talent.

Guests will also be able to shop a variety of SC Specialty Food Association members showcasing and selling their product. Pick up a “Wild in the Kitchen” cookbook to take home all the great recipes and product information.

Make sure to take a creative picture in our photo booth for your chance to win a Specialty Foods Gift Basket valued at $250. To enter, upload your photo(s) to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using the #SCDAgoesWild. The more pictures you post, the better your chances are for winning.
