Harvest Hope to Recognize SC Peanut Farmers

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Harvest Hope Food Bank is recognizing South Carolina peanut farmers and the SC Peanut Board for their help with providing more than 1,200 meals to those in need. The SC Peanut Board has donated more than 1,600 pounds of peanut butter in recent years, all made with SC grown peanuts. Harvest Hope will present a plaque to the SC Peanut Board for its generous contributions.
Commissioner Hugh Weathers and members of the SC Peanut Board will accept the plaque Tuesday, March 18 at 1 p.m. The ceremony will take place at Harvest Hope, located at 2220 Shop Road.
