Strawberry Picking Time in South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Spring has arrived in South Carolina, and with the warmer temperatures comes the tastiest strawberries you will ever eat. Strawberry U-pick farms around the state are gearing up for a bumper crop of the sweet treats.

From April through June, you can visit a number of Certified SC Grown farms to purchase or pick-your-own delicious strawberries. Shortly after, blueberries and blackberries will be ready to pick. Looking for other adventures on the farm? Check out farm tours, festivals and events, hands-on education for kids, overnight farm stays, trail rides, disc golf courses, bike trails, and bird watching.  Some South Carolina farms also offer event venues, Farm to Table dinners, food processing, and wine tastings.
