Description: Lucky 7 Ranch was established in 2007 in Inman South Carolina. We started as a small ranch of 6 acres and have been able to grow to 21 acres. We raise registered Dexter cattle with the long term (2027) objective to sell meat direct to the consumer. Currently, we are focusing on providing customers with registered breeding stock while our own herd grows to a size that will sustain meat production. We operate as organically as possible. We do not use fertilizer on our pastures but rather enrich our soil through spreading compost, lime, seeding nitrogen fixing legumes, and rotationally grazing our pastures to allow our grasses to regenerate. We welcome anyone who wants to visit our farm to see the cattle and the ranching operation. We have a system that captures rainwater off our 5000 square foot barn and through underground pipes, supplies fresh water to the barn, 5 cattle watering stations, a large planting area, and 18 raise garden beds. The system has been in operation for over 7 years and has worked flawlessly providing clean water to animals and vegetables.
