Description: Black Walnut Farms is located in a historically & agriculturally-rich area of Western York County known as Bullock Creek on land that was farmed for over a hundred years, abandoned for decades, and is now renewed as a 30 acre personal farmstead offering tours, retreats, and classes. A richly-loved Medicine Garden is filled with traditional herbs and beneficial natives & the pasture is home to 6 Huayna alpacas whose fiber is made into warm snuggles for sale. A variety of personalities & breeds of yardbird, some honeybees, and 4 truly loving Nubian goats round out our animal family. We offer 45 minute guided walks, mini country "retreats" through pastures & forests to learn, to experience, to breathe in Nature's gifts; retreats & workshops - meditation in nature, homesteading practices, wild-crafted wreaths, fiber arts, the animal-human connection; and our country store is filled with goods from our farmstead & local artisans plus overnight opportunities in tiny cabins and RV sites.
