Description: Home and originator of "Twisted Sister" wines, La Belle Amie Vineyard, is an operating vineyard located on 40 acres near North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The vineyard is part of a former tobacco plantation that has been owned by the Bellamy family since the 1800's. La Belle Amie, meaning "the beautiful friend," is the French origin of the family name. The entrance road to the wine tasting room and gift shop winds past an old tobacco barn and duck pond. The vineyard is a popular attraction for not only locals, but for the many visitors to the Grand Strand area. Guests are invited to try our wines (from dry to sweet) made from grapes native to the area and grapes that we source from other areas of the country. The gift shop has received rave reviews for its outstanding selection of wine accessories, ceramics, fun gift ideas, finishing and dipping sauces. Musical events are held every week year round, weather permitting. Families, buses, and tour groups are welcome.
