Description: We are a family farm in Middendorf Community South Carolina. We grow beef cattle, hay for on site cattle consumption, winter grains for grazing and for the control of on site soil erosion, decorative corn stalks, hunting corn, long leaf pines and pine straw for landscaping. These products are sold to dealers. One of our barns is multi functional. It is designated for agriculture use and for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Couples who rent our barn for weddings are welcome to enjoy our catch and release small fish pond and walking trails. Wedding guests enjoy viewing our cattle from a safe distance and watching as we call in the cows to come closer to fence barriers for fun wedding pictures. Guests and wedding participants enjoy Story Telling as we personally honor the history of our family & farm in casual conversation. We are on site to serve and assist during every wedding activity. We pride ourselves in being selective as to the number of weddings we accept annually. This preserves genuine excitement and attention toward each bride that we have the honor of serving. In honor of Laura's mother, Ms. Jean Oliver Byrd we strive to provide true value and respect in pricing, so as to be considerate of the socioeconomic status of our beloved local population. Altruistic wedding services are our specialty. Prices of our 2-day wedding venue packages and services are truly hard to beat. We offer other services too. Anyone can make an appointment with us for photo opportunities on our farm provided they bring their own professional photographer and are willing to tag us in social media and share photo with us. Favorite photo spots include, big round hay bales, cattle, a pond with a pier & arbor, decorative farm gates, tractors, old growth trees, barns, porch columns on our colonial style home, tree swings, a retired grain bin, wooden fences, a scenic dirt road, pastures, seasonal wild flowers, etc For brides we offer on site professional wedding decorating, day-of coordinating, and rehearsal/ceremony director services.
