Description: We are an abundant homestead and market garden, slowly increasing our operations from a backyard garden to eventually work with the 28+ acres we have available. We have a high tunnel and various food plots with both annual and perennial flowers, fruit, and vegetables. The crop that we produce the most of is garlic, which is available for harvest in June. All of our produce is seeded by hand, grown from organic seed, and is tended to with organic practices. Our primary sales channels include a seasonal farmers market (Manning; Saturdays in June-October from 8am-12pm) as well as our CSA subscription program called "grate crates". We offer farm tours and are able to host outdoor classes, sessions, and workshops including yoga. People are invited to come volunteer on our farm during "Weedin' Wednesdays" (4pm-6pm on the first Wednesday of each month), where attendees can assist with seasonal tasks and take home produce. We also host seasonal events including our Spring Retreat (last weekend in April) as well as kids camp - all events are registration-based.
