Description: Tega Hills Farm uses hydroponic growing techniques in greenhouses to produce over 3,000 heads of lettuce each week; in addition to growing microgreens, edible flowers and a variety of tender greens. They use greenhouses and high tunnels to grow seasonal produce such as cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, squash and anything else they think is sort of cool. Finally, they recycle their microgreen soil into raised beds where they grow root crops and more seasonal produce such as carrots, turnips, beets, radishes, herbs and a variety of beans. The Farm Stand at Tega Hills is open Monday – Friday; 12– 6 pm.
