Social media is one of the most direct and important ways the South Carolina Department of Agriculture (SCDA) communicates with the public. Online social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn are valuable tools used by our agency. We encourage your comments — your ideas and concerns are important to help ensure that a broad range of South Carolinians are active and informed participants in the discussion conducted on our social media pages. SCDA reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.

All comments on SCDA social media pages are reviewed. SCDA expressly reserves the right to remove comments from its pages that do not comply with this Policy. In addition, we expect that participants will treat each other, as well as our agency and our employees, with respect and dignity.
