4th Annual SC AgriBiz & Farm Expo Set for 2016

FLORENCE, S.C. – The 4th annual South Carolina AgriBiz and Farm Expo will be held January 13-14, 2016 at the Florence Civic Center, 3300 West Radio Drive, Florence, SC.  This year’s Expo focuses on “Efficiency and Effectiveness on the Farm” and includes educational sessions and a trade show.

New this year, breakfast and lunch at the Expo will feature some of the tasty offerings of the Fresh on the Menu Food Truck Rodeo. Attendees can enjoy food from It’s a Matter of Taste, Big Dawg BBQ, The Donut Guy and Sea Eagle Market seafood. The Food Truck Rodeo will be open daily from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm.

The Taste of South Carolina Event, sponsored by AgSouth, scheduled for Wednesday, January 13, highlights the 2016 Chef Ambassador class, SC commodities including beef, pork, poultry, soybean and peanut, and other Certified SC specialty foods. SC Advocates for Agriculture will host the Commissioner’s Breakfast Thursday, January 14, with proceeds benefitting the Commissioner’s School for Agriculture.

Attendees can gain insight into the latest technology and agricultural innovations while networking with trade show exhibitors and other agribusiness leaders, “ said Hugh Weathers, SC Commissioner of Agriculture.
