Join the Certified Roadside Market Program
If you currently have a Roadside Market, use this resource to determine whether or not your market meets our standards to be a SCDA Certified Roadside Market.
The South Carolina Department of Agriculture’s (SCDA) Certified Roadside Market Program was designed to create, establish, and improve the quality of roadside markets throughout the state while promoting fair and sanitary marketing and business practices. Qualifying markets must be members of the Certified SC program and be located in a permanent structure (no tents) with safe and easy access to public road(s) and primarily sell agricultural commodities to the public. A portion of the products offered for sale must include those grown or produced in South Carolina. Approved members will receive a 4’x3’ metal double-sided sign (pictured at right) and will be included on the website map and CRM listing.
