About
Saltcatcher Farms' original Warehouse site was developed with the vision to turn a former industrial lot into a space for sustainable business and community. Local people may know the Warehouse as "JJ's Auto": a scrap operation covered with junk cars and tires. The Warehouse site is home to Saltcatcher Farms' main site, with a high tunnel, tomato house, cut flower operation, and raised-bed herb garden, a covered pavilion and a "Red Building" that comfortably hold about 50 people for indoor events. In 2022, we completed installation of Bamberg county's first public, ADA-Accessible Meditation Labyrinth, where we host a variety of activities throughout the changing season. We host an annual plant sale out of our high tunnel, as well as other community centered activities throughout the year including herbal tea tasting, writers' workshops, gardening classes etc.
