BBQ and Bluegrass Event Coming to State Farmers Market
WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. – The 2014 BBQ and Bluegrass event, hosted by Five Rivers Market, is Saturday, November 15, at the State Farmers Market. Come out and enjoy great music, delicious barbeque, and family fun from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The event will feature five bluegrass bands playing throughout the day. Come listen to Flatland Express, The Pine Hill Ramblers, The String Benders, Fender Creek, and headliner Balsam Range. Balsam Range is the 2014 International Bluegrass Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year. While enjoying the music, grab a plate of barbeque from local SC restaurants.
During your visit to the State Farmers Market, be sure to visit the Market Pavilion to shop at Five Rivers Market for local specialty food products and artisan items. Dupre at the Market will be open and serving fresh, local dishes at their restaurant.
General admission tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and free for 12 and under. Gates open at 9 a.m. There will be a wide range of antique cars and tractors exhibited at the event. Food and drink will be available at an additional charge.
