Notice of Issuance: Marketing Order #14 for South Carolina Corn
Pursuant to the applicable rules of practice and procedure governing proceedings to formulate marketing orders under provisions of the “Agricultural Commodities Marketing Act” of 1968, as amended, notice is hereby given of issuance with respect to Marketing Order #14 for South Carolina Corn; the order is applicable to all of South Carolina.
Copies of the aforementioned final Marketing Order, transcripts of public hearings, the aforementioned referendum procedure and other relevant materials used may be examined and are available at agriculture.sc.gov/Corn-Checkoff and from the South Carolina Department of Agriculture, 1200 Senate Street, 5th Floor/P.O. Box 11280, Columbia, SC, 29211. Copies may also be attained by submitting a request via electronic mail to CornCheckoff@scda.sc.gov.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED by the authority granted to the Agriculture Commission of South Carolina and pursuant to the “Agricultural Commodities Marketing Act” of 1968, as amended, that Marketing Order #14 for South Carolina Corn be issued immediately. This order shall have an effective date of July 1, 2024.
