The T. Ashton Phillips Market Center is an event center and SCDA offices located on the campus of the SC State Farmers Market in West Columbia.
D. Leslie Tindal Metrology Lab
The Metrology Laboratory opened in 2018 on the grounds of the SC State Farmers Market in West Columbia.
South Carolina State Farmers Market
The South Carolina State Farmers Market, located in West Columbia, hosts local farmers and vendors year-round.
Pee Dee State Farmers Market
The Pee Dee State Farmers Market in Florence opened in 1983 and sits on land originally used for production farming.
Greenville State Farmers Market
The Greenville State Farmers Market has been at its present location since 1949, and operated by SCDA since 1980. Produce and horticultural vendors are at the market year-round.
CPD Laboratory
The Consumer Protection Division Laboratory, located on the SC State Farmers Market campus in West Columbia, is composed of five sections that analyze various goods and commodities: Animal Feed Laboratory, Dairy and Milk Laboratory, Petroleum Products Laboratory, Residue Laboratory, and Seed Laboratory. All labs have ISO Accreditation and the Dairy and Milk Lab has FDA Accreditation.
Retail Food Safety & William “Buddy” Jennings SCDA Training Facility
SCDA took over Retail Food responsibilities on July 1, 2024. The Buddy Jennings Training Facility opened in November 2021 as a training space for various programs and groups.
